RECSO held a virtual table top exercise to test its procedures for movement of equipment and manpower across the member companies borders. The Table Top Exercise Clean Gulf-1 was successfully conducted on 2nd November 2021. Clean Gulf-1 RECSO exercise was led by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Dubai Petroleum Company (DPE). All RECSO Members, including The Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Wafra Joint Operations (WJO), Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Al Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) and Saudi Aramco, were active participants.

The Marine Emergency Mutual Aid Centre (MEMAC) also participated. RECSO Chairman – Ijaz Ashraf thanked all the participants and emphasized the importance of holding such exercises more regularly to test the contingency plans of all member companies. He also thanked MEMAC for their support and active participation.
